This is an amazing book! i just finished the 10-week journey. I have been using it as an individual study for my daily quiet time with the Lord. It has changed me. I don't say that about many books. It has truly changed me! My church has merged with another to form a multi-campus church, and changes have resulted. I was asked to prayerfully consider transitioning from teaching a Women's class to teaching a 2nd grade class. My first reaction was to talk with the Lord, but I went into sulky, pity-party, 'why me' mode. Then, I began week 5 - emptying of self. Ouch! Conviction time! The Lord used this week to begin changing me. My attitude and outlook have changed. He has used this wonderful book to begin changing me into a vessel He can use FOR HIS GLORY! Since I have obeyed His direction, and began teaching 2nd grade, He has filled me with a sweet joy that is beyond measure or description.I have no illusions that He is done working with me, or that all will be rainbows and dancing from here on out. However, I have a soul-deep joy and now that I know the joy of emptying of self, I will continue to strive to be a vessel He can use. I am a work in progress, and I believe that He will continue His work in me until that day when I go to my 'forever home' with HIm.
Meanwhile, I am immeasurably grateful to Donna Partow and all involved in the publishing of this wonderful book. It has begun a change in me for which I am humbly grateful and in which I am rejoicing!

Classic book. Went through it several years ago myself. Making it part of our "growth" library at church for gals that can't attend a weekly Bible study and are looking for study/devotional material to do at home. Also a good book to do with friends.

This book was incredibly helpful to me. I read it years ago, as a young wife, and the ordered again recently to accompany the WEU course, which has also been a tremendous source of encouragement to me.
I have had a copy of this book before and lost it and got this one on my kindle because I liked it so well.. I am only in the first week but love it .. and have read it before and am doing the 10 week study again...I love the memory verses and prayer log.. can make copies from it..
Very well written with the most valuable information. I was simply glued to this book. After reading it once I had to do it over again just to make sure I didn't miss a thing. I want to do it with a group from my church now.
Donna Partow has done a great job. If anyone wants to become a vessel God can use, following this 10 week plan will surely help you get there. That's if you are serious about becoming a vessel God can use.

Donna Partow is truly a Woman of God who has sat at the foot of His throne to receive words that bring life and life to those who will listen. Becoming a Vessel God can use showed me the difference between being a vessel of honor or vessel of dishonor. There is a very thin line. But, if we choose to be vessels of honor, we must line ourselves up with the Word of God and do all He has called and created us to do. Donna Partow is faithful to the calling God has placed on her life. I thank God for this wonderfully transparent writer! God is faithful!
This was an excellent book to read and take a look at yourself and really evaluate your purpose for God. I did struggle with remembering to read the section for each day and ended up just reading the book straight through, but I don't think it took anything away from the content.
